Q: Are you removing your tattoos?
A: No, I'm not removing any of my tattoos. I'm heavily tattooed
and love all of my tattoos. I do think everyone should think hard before
they get a tattoo and think of it as a permanent decision, but I do
believe people make mistakes and I'm here to either lighten their tattoos
so they can get new beautiful ones they are proud of, or remove them so
they can go on with their life and start fresh.
Q: Does it hurt to remove a tattoo?
A: Past technology was quite painful. With today's technology
removing a tattoo
is more comfortable than getting the tattoo. Plus I use numbing cream
with
all my clients to allow for a more comfortable treatment.
Q: How many treatments does it take to remove a tattoo?
A: Typically between 3-12 treatments are needed. There are a
lot of factors to
determine how many treatments. It depends if you just want the tattoo
lightened to place another tattoo over it, or have it completely removed.
It also
depends if it is a professional or homemade tattoo, what color(s) the
tattoo is,
how big the tattoo is, what type of ink was used, and how fast your body
heels and disposes of the ink.
Q: How much does it cost?
A: $120.00 for 1 treatment up to 15 minutes laser tattoo
removal time and
includes numbing cream or $600.00 for 6 treatments up to 15 minutes laser
tattoo
removal time and includes numbing cream.
Q: Is the laser going to leave a scar?
A: No, not if you follow the aftercare instructions and there
is a professional
person lasering you.
Q: How long do I have to wait before my next treatment?
A: 4-6 weeks to give your body a chance to heal and dispose
of the ink.
Q: What is the downtime?
A: There is no downtime, clients can return to work the same
day.
Q: What type of laser do you use?
A: Sybaritic TA-2 Skin Clear
Q: How does laser tattoo removal work?
A: During the process of tattooing, the tattoo pigment
("ink") is driven into the skin and deposited within the the skin's dermal
layer. Left untouched, the majority of the entrapped pigment will
remain intact indefinitely.
Through a process known as selective photothermolysis, SkinClear TA-2
selectively targets and fragments most tattoo pigments while leaving
surrounding tissues unharmed and intact. The body then eliminates
the resulting smaller tattoo ink particles by phagocytosis.
